Why Sanitize the House

With the novel coronavirus cases spreading at a fast rate, hygiene and cleanliness are highly important. Self-isolation and quarantine have become a way of our life. Protection and prevention are key.

This is the time to sanitize or fumigate any surface which may be dirty or touched by others who may have visited. Noticing the ongoing scenario, people are trying their best to maintain sterility, but many still have questions about other ways to clean or disinfect. Below are points on how to disinfect their houses amid the disease outbreak. Here are some measures people should take.

Know the Difference Between Cleaning and Disinfecting

To safeguard the home effectively during this pandemic, it is important to understand the difference between cleaning and disinfecting. Cleaning refers to basic physical ways to free an area and remove matters like dirt, dust, marks or stains from the surface. While disinfecting we mean incorporating chemicals to kill the germs on the surfaces. Before disinfecting households, it is very important to clean them normally as organic matter can inhibit the disinfectant’s ability to kill germs.
